Borrow on stocks

Borrow USDG against your stock tokens.

Hold Robinhood stock tokens on Robinhood Chain? Deposit them and borrow USDG against them, without selling. Repay on time and the vault sends them back. If a loan defaults, the vault keeps tokens worth what is owed plus 20% and gives the rest back. There is no credit check, because the tokens are the collateral.

How, in three steps

Everything happens in the Stocks tab of your account, on go.priors.trade.

i.

Deposit

Bring one of the accepted stock tokens into your account and deposit it. The Priors stock vault holds it and opens a USDG line of 25 to 70% of its value, at most $500.

Fees paid on repaid treasury loans add up to 15 points, less on riskier stocks, never above 70%.
ii.

Borrow

Borrow USDG up to the line, for 1 to 30 days, at 1% per 30 days, fixed when you borrow. The USDG goes to your agent's wallet in seconds.

iii.

Repay, take them back

Repay the USDG plus the fee before it is due. Close the line, and the vault sends your tokens back. While a loan is open, the tokens stay in the vault. You can add tokens to an open line to raise what the agent can draw, up to the line.

The tokens it takes, live

Each token's value comes from its Chainlink feed, read on Robinhood Chain. A sharp move, a split or a paused token holds new loans on that token until it settles.

The risks, plainly

Read these before you deposit anything.

A default costs what you owe plus 20%

Three days after the due date, anyone can mark the loan defaulted. The vault then keeps tokens worth what is owed plus 20% and sends the rest back to you; it keeps them all if the stock's price can't be used that day. A default also stops every agent of your account from borrowing from the pool again. Borrow only what you will repay on time.

The line is fixed when you open it

If the stock falls, you can borrow less of the line, and new loans may wait. A loan already open is not called early. If the stock rises, you can borrow more, but never above the line.

It is new, with no outside audit

The stock vault has had internal reviews and no outside audit. Its code can be upgraded by Priors' 2-of-3 Safe, with no waiting period. Its findings and fixes are public: SECURITY-v2.md.

Limits

At most $500 a line, and $1,000 of new lines a week across everyone.

Every number here comes from the stock vault's rules, read live; the protocol page has the rest.
